And the interview will be published in our blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The deadline for your draughts is November 30th.
Then all the students and teachers in our project could vote for the best one.

Timetables (Portugal)

Hi, everybody!

We (7th B)are available on Mondays from 15:30 to 17:00; Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:30 and from 13:45 to 15:15.

The 8th B is available on Tuesdays from 13:45 to 15:15;on Fridays from 13:45 to 14:30.

Our summer holidays - 8th B (Portugal)

In my summer holidays my parents, my uncle, my aunt and I went to the beach in Miramar (Vila Nova de Gaia).
I visited my cousin in Figueira da Foz. He is very funny.
I liked my summer holidays very much.

In my summer holidays I went to the beach of Sesimbra. The water was fantastic!
In Armamar I surfed on the net, I played with my friends and the best of everything was playing Xbox with my brother and swimming in the pool of Armamar.

I played computer games and playstation. At home I surfed on the net, went for a walk in Pinhão and Peso da Régua.

In my hodydays I went go to the Algarve to the beach “Praia da Rocha” and then my cousin met me in the Algarve. Afterwards we went to Lisbon to my cousin’s and in Lisbon I visited the “Oceanário”, there I saw many different types of fish and I saw a big ray.

In my summer Holidays I went to Torres Vedras.
In Torres Vedras I went to the Beach. There the water was calm. I played a lot there, I played most of thetime Ps3 and beach Volleyball.
I went to “Ocean Spirit” a sport contest: surfing, kite surf and other Sports.
My summer Holidays were cool.

I went to Spain, Guarda and Aveiro.
In Aveiro I went fishing, played Ps3 and Psp with my brother.
I went to the beach during one month in Aveiro.
I went to Manteigas and I visited some Museums.

Hi, I’m Ricardo from Portugal! In my summer holidays I went to the Sanctuary of Fátima, to the beach in Figueira da Foz, to the Monastery of Batalha, it is wonderful. I met many friends in my holidays. I spent a lot of time with my family. In Tarouca I visited the “São João” Monastery. I helped my parents, rode on my bike, read many books, watched TV and played football with my friends. My summer holidays were very cool.

Hello, I’m Ari, I went in my summer holidays to Greece with my mother and my sisters. I visited my grandparents, cousins, uncle and aunt. I saw many monuments. Greece is a very beautiful country.

Hello. My name is Vera! My summer holidays were nice. I went to the Algarve to the beach. I had a lot of fun at night. I went to Lisbon, to Belém and I visited the Belém Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery and Padrão dos Descobrimentos. Lisbon is a very nice city, it is our capital city.

We are the 7th B.
Our school is Eb2/3 Gomes Teixeira – Armamar, from Portugal.
This is our first year in the e-twinning project.
We are working in this project with our English teacher Carminda Moroso. She is also our class teacher.
In our opinion this is a very interesting and cool project.

OUR SCHOOL - PORTUGAL

Our School starts in September and ends in June. In July there are exams for pupils who fail.
We have holidays for two weeks during Christmas and two weeks during Easter.
Our lessons start at 9:15 and end at 5:00 clock. Some lessons last 45 minutes and some last 90 minutes.
On Wednesday afternoon lessons finish at 3:15. After that there are clubs (drama, beingefriends, chemistry, history).
Our lunch break is from 12:30 till 13:45.
In the morning we have a 15 minute break at 10:45. In the afternoon the break is at 15:15. During these breaks we go to the bar or play with our friends.
Our classes have 25 pupils each (with a total of 454 pupils). There are 55 teachers and 41 school workers.

3 to 6 years old – Kindergarten
7 to 10 years old – Primary school
11 to 15 years old – Junior school or Professional school
16 to18 – Secondary school or Professional school
18 to 22 - University

We made a video about our school. It is presented by Cátia, one of our pupils, attending English, level 2 (class 8º C).
She had great fun during the time we made it and she learnt some new vocabulary, too.
